This sea salt is available to us in bulk, hence we are able to offer a better price than some of the other sea salts that are shipped from Europe in prepackaged containers.
This is a wet, coarse and unrefined sea salt that actually smells like the ocean. Since wet salt is not meant for saltmills, some of our customers, who wish to use it for grinding, will dry it out on a tray in the sunshine or on the lowest setting in the oven. If you were to put this sea salt into a grinder as it is, it would clog the grinder. In France, it usually just sits in a small bowl with a tiny spoon at the table to season your meal.
A fruit is a vegetable with looks and money. Plus, if you let fruit rot, it turns into wine, something Brussels sprouts never do.
