Cajun Pecans Notes
I created this recipe to use a wonderful hot blend in a new way.
- 1 large egg white, beaten until frothy and just beginning to hold some shape
- 2 1/2 tablespoons very hot cajun seasoning
- 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar, packed
- 2 cups pecan halves
Serves / Yields
Preheat oven to 300° and line a baking sheet with parchment.
Mix Very Hot Cajun Style Seasoning and brown sugar into egg. Mix pecan halves into egg mixture. Spread on parchment lined baking sheet in a single layer. Bake 10 minutes. Stir up to loosen from sheet as well as break up the clumps. Bake another 10 minutes or until dry.
Let cool and serve
