Quebec Beef Spice Marinade Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons Quebec beef spice
  • 2/3 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon beef base or beef stock
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Serves / Yields

1 cup

Preparation Instructions

Just blend the beef spice, red wine vinegar and the olive oil and pour over 4 large steaks to marinate. Let stand 30 minutes. Take the steaks out and cook as desired. Reserve the marinade and add the beef base and butter to it in a pot. Heat to a boil for an au jus.

My husband who has used Worcestershire sauce with Lawry’s on our steaks for years (and didn’t want to try anything else) said that this marinade was the best ever and wants to use it on all our steaks. I am so glad I tried it.
