Spiced Orange Wings Notes

I threw this together with ingredients I had handy, and it turned out really well.

Preparation Instructions

Fill a heavy pot with about 1 inch of water. Add Vulcan salt and orange marmalade and bring to a boil. Lay wing pieces in one layer and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes. Turn the pieces over, bring the liquid back to boiling, then turn the heat down and simmer uncovered for another 15 minutes. Fish the wing pieces out. Turn the heat up and reduce the liquid until thick and syrupy. Add the wing pieces to coat.

Helpful Hints

If you don't have Vulcan's salt, substitute 1 tablespoon seasoned salt mixed with 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper.
