Sweet Cardamom Banana Bread Recipe

- 1/2 cup Chicago Old Town Spiced Sugar
- 1/4 cup margarine, room temperature
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup pomegranate molasses
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Serves / Yields
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a standard loaf pan. Cream together the Old Town Spiced Sugar and the margarine. Stir in the eggs. Mash in the bananas and then stir in the milk and the Pomegranate Molasses. Sift the flour, baking soda and salt together. Stir the rest of the ingredients until well-incorporated. Pour/scrape into the greased loaf pan and bake until a fork inserted into the center comes out clean, about 50-60 minutes. Serve hot.
