We got this recipe from one of our Milwaukee customers.
Cream butter and sugar. Stir in vanilla. Add flour and nuts. Chill dough at least 1 hour or until firm. Roll dough into balls (about the size of walnuts) and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes at 350 degrees just until edges are brown. While warm, roll in confectioner's sugar or sift over warm cookies. Sift sugar over cookies again once they cool.
Ground almonds can be used instead of pecans. Cookies or rolling sugar can be colored with a few drops of food color for special occasions. (Blue or pink for a baby shower.)
