Vanilla Notes
My love affair with The Spice House started when I asked my daughter for some vanilla beans. I had a recipe from Mexico for making vanilla, and my daughter lives close to the Evanston store. Included with my order was a catalogue. I've been a happy patron ever since.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Southern Comfort
- 2 vanilla beans, roughly cut
Serves / Yields
About 1 cup
Preparation Instructions
Mix and stick back in your cupboard for at least three weeks.
Helpful Hints
It adds a whole new flavoring to your vanilla-flavored recipes. (It's okay if you want to sample the Southern Comfort--just to make sure it's good.)
