English Prime Rib Rub

Delicious seasoning crusts for prime rib, pork roast and hamburgers start with this blend of spices. This is our version of a popular blend also known as Beau Monde Seasoning.

To make a delicious seasoning crust for prime rib, rinse your roast and rub this blend heavily (1-2 teaspoons per pound) into all sides of meat. Make a gravy from the meat drippings, by adding water and a little arrowroot or flour (for thickening). It will be wonderfully seasoned.

Also good on steaks, chops and pork roast. We have several pubs which use this seasoning for two purposes. First, it's great sprinkled on hamburgers, and, secondly, it makes a wonderful addition to Bloody Marys! These spices are also a zesty addition to plain tomato juice or soup, and with a variety of vegetables. Hand mixed from: flake salt, ground celery seed, msg, sugar, Tellicherry black pepper, toasted and white onion powder, arrowroot, and garlic powder.

My wife and I tried to breakfast together, but we had to stop or our marriage would have been wrecked.
