These large mushrooms grow on wood, with a color and shape resembling oysters. Their light flavor and texture makes them a nice match for seafood dishes, vegetables, and white sauces.
The flavor is also reminiscent of oysters, with a slight anise overtone. Mild and fleshy, these mushrooms are popular in soups and stir-fries. Although they are native to Asia and common in Asian cuisines, they are cultivated worldwide and can be used in may styles of cooking.
Almost every person has something secret he likes to eat.
