Chili Powder, Mild

Chili powder has many applications, and the rich flavor of The Spice House chili powder never disappoints. We use ancho chile as the base for this mild chili powder because of its sweet, rich flavor and lovely deep maroon color. We fire up the mild ancho chiles and with cumin, garlic, and Mexican oregano.

Chili seasoning is easily confused with chile pepper. When a recipe calls for chile pepper, it means pure ground chiles. Mild chili seasoning, on the other hand, is a blend of ground chiles and other ingredients. Our flavorful chili powders are all salt free, mixed by hand 1500 times and triple sifted to produce just the right color and taste. Use 1-3 tablespoons per quart of chili.

Hand mixed from sweet ancho chile pepper, cumin, garlic, and powdered Mexican oregano
