Hardwood Peppermill

People once cracked peppercorns with a mortar and pestle—but in 1842, Peugeot invented the hardwood peppermill and the world never looked back. We like to have several filled and ready and on-hand: black pepper for everyday use, white for delicate sauces and gravlax, a blends for salad dressings and marinades. (Also, just because they look great!)

At just 4" high, these handsome hardwood peppermills from Fletcher’s Mills are perfect for grinding fresh pepper right at your dinner table. Made of American hardwood, this sturdy little mill has locking adjustable grind sizes and a solid steel grinding mechanism. The natural, unstained hardwood and dark walnut stain look great with any kitchen or table decor, while the bright red lacquer adds a splash of color. Like all our Fletcher's Mills pepper mills, this mill has a lifetime guarantee. We also offer matching salt mills in natural maple and walnut stain, with hardened nylon grinding mechanisms to resist corrosion.
