Porcini mushrooms have been revered since Roman times for their complex flavor. Nutty and woodsy, with an earthiness that is reminiscent of truffles, this salt is great for pastas, charcuterie plates, cream sauces and vegetables. To make this blend, we use Portuguese Salt Cream, the highest quality sea salt skimmed from the surface of the drying pile. We then infuse this pure and elegant base with ground porcini mushrooms.
