I originally went in search of Everything Bagel seasoning to add to my roasted cauliflower. Once I had it, I realized that it has many (delicious) uses. I sprinkle this on my eggs all the time. I especially enjoy it on over easy eggs. I have added it to scrambled as well (but I really prefer something like a Parisian shallot blend in scrambled eggs).
For a quick snack, I take a Wasa crisp bread, spread on a bit of cream cheese, and sprinkle it with the Everything Bagel seasoning. For breakfast, I do the same with 2 Wasa crisp breads, cream cheese, Everything Bagel seasoning, and then I top that off with a hard boiled egg cut into 4 slices over the top (it's a perfect fit for 2 crisp bread slices). I have cut out some carbs by getting the essence of an everything bagel without actually having to eat one.
The balance of the seasonings is perfect for me. There is enough salt but not too much. This works well with the onion, garlic, poppy seed, and sesame seed. I am VERY picky about balance, and I am happy to report that I have not had any issues at all with this blend after several uses.
I keep this seasoning in my office as well as at home. SO good!
