BASIL, SWEET CALIFORNIA
With its fresh, sweet flavor, basil is the one of most popular herbs in the country. This aromatic dried sweet basil herb is delicious in Italian and French cooking, especially in combination with tomatoes and garlic.
BAY LEAVES, TURKISH WHOLE
These leaves have a milder, but more complex flavor than that of domestic bay. They add a subtly sweet astringency to dishes. Just one or two are needed to heighten the flavor of a whole pot roast, stew or soup.

Sweet curry powder is by far the most popular of our curries. It will give you a wide range of flavors without too much heat. This curry powder spice has a rich, balanced flavor that's perfect in any recipe calling for curry powder.
Dill weed is a popular herb that gives dishes a bright, tasty flavor. It is popular in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe, and commonly used in Mediterranean, Persian and some Southeast Asian cuisines.
FENNEL SEEDS, WHOLE
Fennel seed has sweet, grassy flavor with delicate notes of anise and licorice. These whole seeds add wonderful pops of flavor to Italian sausage, and are sometimes chewed after meals to sweeten breath.

ROSEMARY, CRACKED NEEDLES
Cracked rosemary packs all of the punch of fresh rosemary. Better still, its smaller pieces are not abrasive to the palate.
This sage has all the flavor of the broken leaf, minus the inconvenience of the larger particulates. It can be added directly to sauces, rubs, and stews without having to strain it. Be sure to use a light hand though, as a little of our freshly dried rubbed sage goes a long way.
French Select Thyme has a fresh, smooth aroma and lovely deep green color, and is a nice herb for everyday cooking. With a softer leaf and sweeter flavor than our Mediterranean Thyme, this product comes highly recommended by Spice House staff.
