Made from dried and powdered whole jalapeño peppers, gives a pleasant kick of heat that wakes up the palate without leaving a lingering burn. Ground jalapeño is a great choice for milder or creamy dishes, and to add a bit of zip to dry rubs, salsas, queso or dips. Jalapeño powder ranges from 8,000 to 30,000 Scoville heat units. This is a very fine powder so be careful use it in a ventilated area to avoid breathing it in.
