Turkish Bay Leaves, Powdered

The Oracle of Delphi chewed fresh laurel leaves for divine inspiration. When dried, they make for inspired sauces, stews, soups, and curries. We chased the bay leaf around the world and decided the large, fragrant Turkish variety is our favorite. This powdered version blends easily into sauces and broths. Also available in Whole Turkish Bay Leaves, or Organically Sourced Bay Leaves.

Details

Turkish bay has a far more mild yet complex flavor than that of domestic bay, and adds a subtly sweet astringency to dishes. This fine powder will blend smoothly into all recipes, eliminating the risk of biting into a whole leaf or the chore of having to fish it out of your finished dish. Ingredients: Bay leaves.

My new favorite thing!!

So simple to add to chicken meatballs or minestrone. It's rare to find something new and mind blowing this is definitely it.

Essential for stews

The powdered bay leaves works faster than whole leaves and is easier to adjust perfectly to your taste. Start with just a little then add more as needed. One of my favorite secrets.

Go fish... or not!

No more fishing for bay leaves. This bay leaf powder adds subtle flavor and makes your soups, stews and sauces taste like they have been cooking all day.
