Blackened Shrimp Tacos are delicious and not too difficult… a little time consuming though, but the reward is excellence! The popularity of fish tacos has skyrocketed in recent years. Blackened Shrimp Tacos Recipe

Preparation Instructions

Make blackening seasoning with salt, paprika, thyme, onion powder, granulated garlic, red pepper, and black pepper. Mix spices together in small bowl.
Toss shrimp with blackening seasoning.
Have pan on medium hi
In medium hi saute pan, add oil and blacken your shrimp.
Cook for only 1 minute on each side, taking care not to burn. If it is too hot, turn the heat down a little.
In another pan over medium heat, heat your tortillas on both sides.
Add a little guacamole or avocado on each tortilla (if you like it that way, if not, it's ok)
Add shrimp and top with mango salsa and sprig of cilantro.
Garnish with lime wedges.

Optional: Fish and Shrimp tacos are excellent with shredded cabbage as well. I like to toss mine with a little lime juice and salt and black pepper.
