Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Set aside.
Cream butter and sugar together. Slowly add eggs to the mixer until fully whisked in. Then add rest of wet ingredients.
Once liquids are fully incorporated, add dry ingredients one cup at a time. Use a rubber spatula to scrape unmixed flour from side of bowl and into the mixing batter.
Slowly increase speed to high, beating air into the batter for more volume and fluffier texture.
Grease two 9" x 1 1/2 cake pans with butter, then fill them equally with your batter.
Bake for about 35 minutes, or until you can remove a toothpick from the center without batter sticking to it.
For the frosting:
Whip cream cheese and butter together.
Add powdered sugar one cup at a time.
Add vanilla last.
Frost cake once it has cooled. Garnish with more Cake Spice.
