Nutella Cookies with Lavender Icing Recipe

  • 1 Cup flour
  • 1 jar Nutella (Net Wt 13 oz)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Teaspoon Hazlenut Extract
  • 1 Cup powdered sugar (icing)
  • 5 Teaspoons water (icing)
  • 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon Lavender extract (icing)

Preparation Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix cookie ingredients in a large bowl.

Mix well until desired thickness is achieved.

Line baking sheet with parchment paper.

Roll mix into balls and place on baking sheet.

Press down with fingertips or bottom of glass.

Bake for 8-10 minutes until they are cooked around the edges and still slightly soft in the middle.

Let cookies sit on baking sheet for 5 minutes and then cool on a baking rack.

After cookies are completely cooled add icing.

Cookies are also delicious without icing.
