Rinse and pick over the cranberries. Add just enough bottled orange juice to the fresh juice to yield 1 cup of liquid.
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stir to dissolve sugar, reduce heat and simmer uncovered, for 10 min. or until thickened.
Transfer to a dish, and cool to room temperature, uncovered. Cover and refrigerate overnight
