Pork Butt - Carnitas Recipe

Ingredients

Cut pork butt into 4 quarters

Place pork into a deep, oven-safe pan, then add the juice of two limes, and orange juice.

Season the mixture with salt, black pepper, cumin, and garlic.
Add one onion diced.

Cover pan with parchment paper and foil.

Cook in oven at 325 fahrenheit for 2.5 to 3 hrs, then crank oven up to 450 fahrenheit for 30 min.

You will know it's done when it's golden brown and has a dark broth.

Helpful Hints

The pork should just pull apart.

Serve on tortillas with salsa, guac, or fresh limes.
