Sweet Cardamom Banana Bread Recipe

Preparation Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease a standard loaf pan.
Cream together the Old Town Spiced Sugar and the margarine. Stir in the eggs. Mash in the bananas and then stir in the milk and the Pomegranate Molasses. Sift the flour, baking soda and salt together. Stir the rest of the ingredients until well-incorporated.
Pour/scrape into the greased loaf pan and bake until a fork inserted into the center comes out clean, about 50-60 minutes. Serve hot.

Yield: One Loaf

The pomegranate molasses is completely overwhelming. You would never know there are bananas in it. I like the idea of the Chicago Old Town sugar but I don't know how to substitute something else for the molasses. I also think using all whole wheat flour would make this too heavy/dense so I used half all purpose flour.
