Vanilla sugar is a common substitute for extract in many European baked goods, especially in German baking recipes where it is known as Vanillezucker. Our vanilla sugar is slightly stronger than most homemade or commercial vanilla sugars, as it is made with both beans and extract. Besides baking, sprinkle it on toast, fruit, hot cereals, in tea, cocoa, or coffee.
We also use our vanilla sugar as a base to make our Lavender-Vanilla Sugar and our best-selling Chicago Old Town Premium Spiced Sugar.
