$15,000 Dollar Chicken Recipe

$15,000 Dollar Chicken Notes

This recipe was named by a friend of mine, as the only good thing I got out of my first marriage, and the $15,000 dollars it cost me. We all thought this was hilarious.

It is a personal favorite of mine (and everyone I give it to).

It's really simple, but really, really tasty.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • to taste, extra virgin olive oil
  • to taste, Worcestershire sauce
  • to taste, Cajun Seasoning

Serves / Yields

4 Large Chicken Breasts

Preparation Instructions

Cut chicken breasts into required sized pieces, and place in a single layer in a large dish.

Pour a generous amount of olive oil over the chicken. Pour a slightly less generous amount of Worcestershire sauce over the chicken. Then, sprinkle on the Cajun seasoning to cover the chicken. Let sit to marinate.

After approximately 10 minutes, turn all the chicken over, and again, sprinkle Cajun seasoning to cover the chicken.

Cook, preferably on the grill, and enjoy.

Helpful Hints

This recipe is also great with small pieces of chicken, onions, and peppers grilled on skewers.

inject - especially if you're going to grill chicken - even for smaller pieces use an injector - you'll be amazed at the difference even for a 'watery by La. standards' (sorry) marinade

I marinated the chicken a bit longer, then grilled it. Very good! In fact, I'm making it again tonight!

Strawberries are too delicate to be picked by machine. The perfectly ripe ones even bruise at too heavy a human touch. It hit her then that every strawberry she had ever eaten--every piece of fruit--had been picked by calloused human hands. Every piece of toast with jelly represented someone's knees, someone's aching back and hips, someone with a bandanna on her wrist to wipe away the sweat. Why had no one told her about this before?
