We aquired this recipe from one of our Milwaukee customers.
Cream the butter and shortening together with a mixer. Then mix the sugar and eggs in with the butter mixture. In a separate bowl, mix flour, cream of tartar and baking soda. Slowly add the sifted flour mixture into the butter mixture. Blend in extracts. Roll in small balls and place on a cookie sheet. Flatten the balls with the bottom of a glass dipped in sugar. Bake for 8-10 minutes in a 350 degree oven.

These cookies were a hit among friends and family. I added an extra teaspoon of lemon extract next batch though to give it more of a lemon flavor.
