Coconut Melting Moments Notes

We aquired this recipe from one of our Milwaukee customers.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup corn startch
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 1/2 cup flaked coconut

Serves / Yields

Makes 3 to 3 1/2 dozen cookies.

Preparation Instructions

Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Shape the dough into 1/2 inch to 1 inch balls. Roll in coconut and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with a floured fork and bake in a 300 degree oven for 20 to 30 minutes. (You do not want the cookies to brown.)

As soon as I made these and tried them I could not stop eating them. My family joined in and they were evaporating faster than I could bake them. We shared them with our church family Sunday and received many compliments. I am already getting requests for more. Thanks alot for sharing this recipe.
