My Favorite Croutons Notes

This recipe comes to us courtesy of the "Spice of Life Cookbook" by Treva Davis (no longer in print).

Makes 48 Servings, 2 Tablespoons Each

Preparation Instructions

Place bread cubes in a large bowl. Slowly drizzle canola oil over cubes and toss to coat well. Sprinkle seasonings over all and toss thoroughly again.

Place croutons in a large roasting pan. Bake at 250F degrees for 1-1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally, until golden and toasted.

Cool and store in an air tight container. Serve on salads, in soup, or on top of casseroles.
