Baker's Gift Box

Baker's gift boxes are an extremely thoughtful gift for the person who loves to bake, and still makes those special treats that you remember from your childhood (Mom or Grandma, perhaps?). Your box comes packed with stick cinnamon, ginger root, whole nutmeg and Turkish bay leaves. An informational brochure included.

You box selection includes these spices, ground fresh weekly in small custom batches.

SAIGON CASSIA CINNAMON This rich, vibrant cinnamon has a strong, sweet nature which makes it ideal for baking. The legendary Saigon cinnamon only became available recently, when we finally resumed relations with Vietnam. Well worth the wait! In addition to meeting your baking needs, this cinnamon is great for sprinkling over cereal, oatmeal, waffles, French toast, apples.

EAST INDIES NUTMEG, GROUND Nutmeg is great for baking, also in vegetable recipes for squash, spinach, and sweet potatoes. Nutmeg makes a good secret ingredient for stews, cream soups, sauces, preserves, and meatballs. Traditionally sprinkled over holiday eggnog.

CHINA NO. 1 GINGER, POWDERED
This beautiful, high-grade ginger has a fresh lemony scent to enhance its rich cream color. Gingerbread cookies are always a holiday favorite. Asian and Pacific Rim cooking use ginger frequently in stir fry, sweet and sour dishes, fish, and curries.

DOUBLE-STRENGTH PURE VANILLA EXTRACT Made with 200 Madagascar Bourbon Island vanilla beans per gallon and a slow-compress extraction, this is the best vanilla available in the US. It is so strong you need use only half of what your recipe requires. (However, if you love vanilla as we do, it’s even more marvelous when used full-strength!)
