Chesapeake Bay Seasoning contains about 20% less salt than standard seafood seasonings and is quite nice on virtually any type of fish or seafood.
Traditionally used on Maryland Blue Crab, this seasoning is mixed in the East Coast Bay Area from salt, mustard flour, paprika, celery, chili pepper, black and red pepper, dill weed, dill seed, caraway, allspice, cardamom, thyme, ginger, powdered bay leaves, mace, cinnamon, savory and cloves. Due to the complexity of its ingredients, it also blends well in seafood cocktail or barbeque sauce, or on top of poultry or beef.
Isn't there any other part of the matzo you can eat?
