Chile Peppers, Jalapeno
Jalapeno Chile Peppers, Diced Pieces Or Ground
Jalapeno peppers are probably the most popular of the chile pepper family, due to its flavorful heat.
Our diced jalapeno has most of the hot inner seeds removed; it rates around 18,000 scoville heat units. Shake it onto pizza, spaghetti, taco or burrito meat, or use it in salsa or corn bread.
The powdered jalapeno is a little hotter, around 25,000 heat units. It blends nicely in sauces, chili, salsa and adds pizzazz when sprinkled over vegetables, chicken, chops, ribs, or eggs. It's great for spicy bread sticks, chip dips, and as a secret ingredient for Bloody Marys.
