This organic rubbed sage, grown in Egypt, has a strong clean scent and rich astringent flavor.
Sage's most popular use is for flavoring poultry stuffing, be it turkey, goose, chicken, duck or miscellaneous other wild poultry. For our customers who still make their own sausage, sage is one of several mandatory seasonings used for pork sausage. Sage marries very well with any type of pork; it is a nice salt free rub for pork roast. Use sparingly as it is quite strong.
