Transfer to ice cream maker and freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
Helpful Hints
I made this up based on Ben and Jerry's sweet cream base and some good luck with a past recipe for cinnamon ice cream. I imagine you could use just about any "sweetish" spice for variations in this. Of course, you can use any other ice cream base you like if you have concerns about fat or sugar.
Comments:
At first glance, this seemed like the weirdest and most unlikely ice cream recipe possible. Naturally, we had to try it. After tasting the resulting ice cream with a bit of trepidation, we found that it was delicious, with the only problem being that we ran out of it too soon! In retrospect, most of the constituent spices of the garam masala mixture would lend themselves well to a sweet dessert anyway, so this shouldn't have been that surprising. Nevertheless, this is a concoction that we would never have thought up ourselves, so hats off to Mr. Germuska for coming up with this one-of-a-kind ice cream recipe!
