Harissa is a common North African condiment made from chilies, oil, garlic, and spices. This traditional harissa is made on the Mahjoub family estate in Tebourba, Tunisia, where the rich traditions of Tunisian cuisine have been brought into the modern age. Made with organic peppers, garlic, and olive oil grown on the estate, this harissa is characterized by its grainy consistency and its slightly smoked flavour. Use this spicy spread as a condiment on bread and sandwiches, or in recipes.
Reminds me of my of safari in Africa. Somebody forgot the corkscrew and for several days we had to live on nothing but food and water.
