Garlic pieces are offered in two sizes: chopped and minced. Chopped pieces are about 1/4", and are perfect for long cooking times, such as stews, marinades, or slow-simmered pasta sauce. Minced pieces, about 1/8", rehydrate more quickly for shorter cooking times or when you don't want obtrusive garlic bits in your food.
