This mild blend for Italian Sausage is made from the highest quality spices. Use 3 - 4 Tablespoons per pound of meat. If you like your Italian sausage hot, add crushed red chile peppers at the rate of ½ to 1 tsp. per pound of meat. Great for pizza sausage, spaghetti sauce, sausage and peppers, or grilled sausage patties topped with mozzarella and giardiniera. Making your own sausage lets you make it healthier; try using ground turkey or chicken instead of the traditional pork.
