The 2009 Green City Market Chef's Summer BBQ will be held in Lincoln Park on Thursday, July 16, from 6-8 pm.
One of the best summer events in Chicago, this grand picnic is held every July in the lovely Lincoln Park, with the fabulous Chicago skyline as a backdrop. This beautiful venue is ideal to showcase some of Chicago’s finest chefs. All of their dishes are prepared using the bounty of the market.
Every year more chefs join the BBQ to show off the best of Chicago's culinary talent. This year we will have more than 50 chefs providing dishes. In addition to food, locally made beer, wine, and beverages will be available.
The last 100 tickets are available here online, at any of our Illinois Spice House locations, and at the actual market on Wednesdays and Saturdays, at the information table. This event will sell out, probably before the weekend is over. If you plan on coming to a shop to pick up your tickets, PLEASE call whichever shop you are coming to in order to confirm availablity You don't want to miss the delicious food and drink, music, and the beauty of Lincoln park on a summer evening.
