Cake Spice

Cake Spice is an exotic sweet spice mix. Comprised of the rich China Tung Hing cinnamon, star anise powder, the powder from the rare cassia bud, ground cloves, nutmeg, allspice and ginger. For a little variety, use in place of cinnamon in a spice cake or banana bread recipe. In a 9" deep-dish apple pie, use about 2 tablespoons. For French toast or waffle batter, mix in 1/2 - 1 teaspoon per cup of batter. Attractive and tasty sprinkled on top of whipped cream for any dessert.
