Cake Spice is an exotic sweet spice mix, similar to a traditional English baking spice blend. This all-purpose baking blend can be used in place of all the spices called for in most recipes - just use as much Cake Spice as the total amount of spice called for. For a little variety, use in place of cinnamon in a spice cake or banana bread recipe. In a 9" deep-dish apple pie, use about 2 tablespoons. For French toast or waffle batter, mix in 1/2 - 1 teaspoon per cup of batter. Attractive and tasty sprinkled on top of whipped cream for any dessert.
