All spices are wonderful, but not all spices are essential. These are the essential spices we reach for most often in our kitchen. We would not necessarily expect to see each and every one of these essentials in your kitchen, but we would hope to see most of them. Start with Allspice from Jamaica. Proceed to Mustard in Mild, Medium, and Hot. Look for Xanthan Gum if you need an essential thickener.
