Public markets are on the upswing in the United States, and The Spice House has happily joined up with the Milwaukee Public Market.
While chefs have moved into rock star status in the last 20 years, we think it appropriate that local farmers are poised to take their place in the spotlight. The Milwaukee Public Market is a year round venue showcasing 20 specialty vendors. It might have been easier to bring in big chain stores with big budgets, but the founders of the market sought out local, family-owned specialty food shops (The Spice House included). If you visit the market, you will meet some good folks who genuinely care for their customers and their businesses.
The Milwaukee Public Market also offers arts, crafts, music events, and great cooking classes-along with lots of free parking. We hope to see you at our newest shop soon!
Got my spices in the mail today. The extra loose cinnamon sticks, nutmeg, and bay leaves inside the popcorn seasoning box was a wonderful touch. And then a handwritten thank you on my invoice melted my heart. You guys are awesome!Deana Culbreth, Facebook Review
