Argyle Street Avocado Toast
The toasted sesame oil gives this an especially rich flavor. Try pickling the cucumbers and carrots beforehand, using some light vinegar and sugar.

  • 1 slice hearty bread, toasted
  • 1/2 small Hass avocado
  • 1 teaspoon fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/2 carrot, shaved into ribbons or sliced into thin coins
  • 1 small seedless cucumber, shaved
  • garnish micro greens
  • a few drops toasted sesame oil

Preparation Instructions:

Mash avocado, lemon juice, and Argyle Street blend together.

Smear on toasted bread, top with carrots, cucumbers, toasted sesame oil, and sprouts.

Serve and eat immediately.

Optional additions: soft boiled quail eggs, hot chile pepper slices, marinated tofu, or radish.
