This Vietnamese-Inspired blend draws in all areas of the palate with citrus flavor up front, followed by the warm pungency of ginger; leading to a hint of bitter herbs, then the heat of the chilies emerges. Quickly flash-fry this blend in oil to begin a great stir-fry, or use it as a nice addition to cold pasta or noodle salads. It’s also wonderful for encrusting chicken or fish before baking, to season sushi and spring rolls, or on steamed vegetables. Great spice, Great of vegetables
I do use this blend on a number of Thai dishes I routinely make: Pad Thai, Pad Woon Sen, Red curry, etc. but also use it to season dumplings, stir frys, even Ramen. By getting a flat pack a few times a year it remains fresh for every use.
We LOVE ramen but don't like the sodium and other unhealthy additives from the packets that come with it. We toss the seasoning packets, use our own home-made broth, all the toppings and some Argyle Street. Perfection.
