Yield: 2 cups
Steep lavender with boiling water and let it sit for 10-15 minutes.
Strain the water into a saucepan. Add sugar and bring to simmer.
As soon as all the sugar is dissolved keep simmering for 2 or 3 more minutes.
Cool immediately.
For a purple color add food coloring or try steeping a couple blueberries or raspberries with the lavender. It will add a nice flavor too.
