This high-quality Holland, A-1 Extra Fancy poppy seed has become increasingly difficult to find in recent years. Our Dutch poppy seed has a very fresh, nutty flavor, that keeps much better when refrigerated.
Many cultures have traditional special Christmas cakes and tortes using poppy seeds. One of our most vivid Christmas memories will always be of the two special breads Gram made as a special breakfast treat on Christmas morning. One was a cinnamon nut bread; the other poppy seed. We miss you, Gram!
We also offer freshly ground poppy seeds.
