Both innocent and indulgent, this fruit smoothie makes breakfast taste like dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 large apple, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 ripe banana
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1/2 cup oat milk
  • 2 ice cubes (optional)
  • Garnish toasted, rolled oats

Preparation Instructions:

1. Add all ingredients except ice to a blender. Pulse a few times and then run on high.

2. Add ice cubes and blend until consistency is smooth. (You may wish to crush them slightly in a ziplock bag before blending.)

3. Pour drink in a cold glass, garnish with toasted oats and extra Apple Pie Spice.

More About This Recipe

You can use regular milk or any non-dairy milk you like. We find that oat milk has a nice flavor of grains, giving the drink a slight taste of pie crust!
