Hot Buttered Rum Apple Pie
Our Apple Pie Spice makes a tasty and attractive garnish when sprinkled on ice cream or whipped cream for any dessert. To mix things up a bit, use this blend instead of cinnamon in a banana bread or spice cake recipe. Use about 2 tablespoons for a 9" deep-dish apple pie. For waffle batter or French toast, use about 1/2 - 1 teaspoon per cup of batter. Ingredients: Cinnamon, star anise, nutmeg, allspice, ginger, cloves.

Too much anise it overpowered every other flavor and smell.
This makes every apple dessert so delicious -- just the right amount of everything. I get lots of compliments.
The Spice House never disappoints and the apple pie spice is no exception. The aroma when the jar is opened is wonderful and the taste of it in baked goods and in an apple cider mimosa adds a depth of flavor that is pure. There is no comparison between store bought apple pie spice and this one from Spice House. This is a winner!
Apple pie making is an annual fall event in our house! Apple Pie Spice is a requirement.
I add a dash to top of freshly ground coffee beans to good accolades.
