Preparation Instructions:

Start by grabbing a jar of Green Chimichurri Mix and preparing it according to the instructions on the jar. Set aside to use in multiple steps of the recipe.

Heat the griddle or grill up to high heat, and form the ground beef in 8 equal size balls. Then use a mandolin to thinly slice the jalapeños. 

Place the beef balls down on the hot griddle, and smash them down until your desire thickness. Then season the beef before placing down a layer of thinly sliced jalapeños down. 

Let the burgers cook for about 90 seconds , then flip and top with American cheese. Let that melt for 20-30 seconds, then remove. Spread a thin layer of the chimichurri mayo on the buns and use that to toast them quickly over high heat. 

Build the burger starting with 1 tbsp of the chimichurri mayo on the bottom bun, then place down a few candied or pickled jalapeños.

Toss on two of the patties with cheese, then add your desired amount of pickled red onions.

Add another tablespoon of chimichurri mayo to the top bun before covering that with crispy onions and placing it down on top!
