My love affair with The Spice House started when I asked my daughter for some vanilla beans. I had a recipe from Mexico for making vanilla, and my daughter lives close to the Evanston store. Included with my order was a catalogue. I've been a happy patron ever since.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Southern Comfort
  • 2 vanilla beans, roughly cut

Preparation Instructions:

Mix and stick back in your cupboard for at least three weeks.
