Name: Duck Fat Roasted Walnuts
Ingredients: The Spice House Diamond Crystal Kosher Salt (1 pinch); The Spice House Spiced Vanilla Sugar (1 heaping teaspoon); 1 cup walnuts; 1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon Rendered Duck Fat

You can also use the Spice House blend of Maple Sugar and Ceylon Cinnamon Powder or just with Ceylon Cinnamon.

Ingredients

1 pinch Kosher salt
1 heaping teaspoon Spiced Vanilla Sugar
1 cup walnuts
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon Rendered Duck Fat

Preparation Instructions:

In a small saucepan place, add small duck fat in the pan and begin to heat over a low to medium flame.

Spread heated duck fat over entire pan. Add walnuts and heat.

Turn walnuts when needed making sure not to overcook. Remove from pan.

Pat dry with paper towels thoroughly.

Sprinkle with kosher salt and then Chicago Old Town Premium Spiced Sugar.

Repeat process when making more.
