Sichuan Chile and Maple Roasted Sweet Potatoes
The maple syrup not only helps offset the heat of the Sichuan Chile BBQ Rub, but also helps the caramelization of the sweet potatoes, making the potatoes crunchy on the outside and pillowy on the inside.

  • 4 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 Tbsp Sichuan Chile BBQ Rub
  • 1 Tbsp Maple Syrup
  • 3 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Preparation Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

2. On a ½ sheet pan, combine cut sweet potatoes with Sichuan Chile BBQ Rub, maple syrup, and extra virgin olive oil and use your hands to ensure evenly coated.

3. Roast for 30 minutes, rotating the pan halfway through and using a spatula every 7-10 minutes to flip sweet potatoes to ensure even browning.

4. Once out of the oven, sprinkle with Sea Salt.
