To rehydrate, add three parts water to one part peel and let stand 15 minutes. We recommend these grated orange peel zest granules be kept in an air-tight jar. The essential oil content, which gives it such a strong flavor, is so high that it will actually degrade a plastic bag in a matter of hours. Ingredients: Orange peel.

I ordered orange zest to add to my tea brewing basket, and now always add 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon.
Why work so hard? I have all three of the SH Zests. I use them all the time. Far more cost effective than buying extra fruits just trying to get a decent volume of zest, from less than quality fruits. Now I use my zests in many more ways, and it’s affordable. No knuckle-busting!
All the spices I purchased were great!
High quality, long lasting when kept in the refrigerator after opening. I have purchased the lemon and lime zests as well and no comparison to grocery store zest.
I use this for cookies etc that call for lemon zest. Keep it in the freezer between bakings to retain the full fresh scent and flavor. Wonderful.
